Vacuum Casting Plants

Since 1980, BP2 design and manufacture vacuum plants suitable to process epoxy resins used to produce medium and high voltage components.
Such plants are used for the following technologies:
- conventional vacuum casting for the inglobation of instrument, distribution and power transformers, etc.
- automatic pressure gelation (APG) to manufacture insulators and bushings, switchgear parts, etc.
- vacuum/pressure impregnation (VPI) for the impregnation of motors and generators, LV distribution transformers windings.
The pluriannual experience and the constant cooperation with our customers, as well as the deep knowledge on the issues involved in the various production processes, allows us to manufacture high capacity and compact plants provided with an adequate management of operational parameters such as vacuum, weights, temperatures.
Thanks to their main components design modularity, we can customise specific plants by meeting our customers' individual requirements.
Some components are covered by patents, which are the result of the constant research applied to production processes.
All the components in contact with the products, are made of stainless steel.
The plant operation can be managed in manual or automatic mode through PLC/PC/SW.
The production cycle (design, construction and final tests) is achieved within our factory with installation and commissioning at the customer's premises.
